We are pleased to announce that the project “Bridges of Cultural and Sports Heritage” has been approved for funding by the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds as part of the Cross-border Cooperation Program between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2024.

 

The goal of this project is to strengthen cross-border cooperation and preserve cultural and sports heritage through various events and activities in both regions. Races, cultural festivals, and promoting local products are key elements of the program, designed to connect communities and contribute to developing tourism and quality of life in border areas.

 

Among the project's main activities are the “One Parish - Three Churches” road race, to be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the event “At the Ričice Table”, which will promote indigenous wines and traditional dishes in Croatia.

 

The total approved funding amount is 14,468.44 euros, with 6,626.76 euros awarded to Charity Association Kolajna ljubavi for project implementation, and 7,841.68 euros to Native Association Podbila in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

We expect and firmly believe that our project will significantly contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage, encourage physical activity among children and adults, and foster cross-border cooperation that nurtures our shared history and traditions.
