A picture book about a boy living in an orphanage in Tanzania and describes everyday life in his humble but happy home. Students and staff of the Elementary School Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević from Mostar, as a gift to children from the Orphanage of St. Ante designed and made a picture book called 'Little Winner', which they translated into English, and with our little help in Swahili. The author of the story is a writer for children and youth, school librarian Milena Jukić Bandić, whom we thank from the bottom of our hearts for the initiative, while the illustrations are the work of students! We invite you to support the whole action, because by donating for the picture book, in addition to helping the Orphanage, you are bringing a part of African life to the child who will get the picture book. ‘Little Winner’ is a short story whose main character is an eight-year-old boy who lives in an orphanage in Tanzania and faithfully describes everyday life in his humble but happy home. It is a story of gratitude, modesty, friendship and kindness from which not only children but also adults can learn a lot! The author suggests a donation of 40 kn, but the picture book does not have a fixed price, you can donate as much as you want or you can.
