These days, our dedicated volunteers are in Songea and the Kilimanjaro Region, diligently visiting our sponsored children and photographing them for their sponsors.

These are always very special moments. Our children prepare carefully for their photos—they put on their most beautiful dresses and best clothes, comb their hair, and proudly stand in front of the camera, eager to show themselves to their sponsors looking their very best. Their smiles, the sparkle in their eyes, and their excitement speak louder than words.

We remember our beginnings more than 15 years ago, when we would often meet children who were afraid of having their picture taken. They would shy away from the camera, lower their gaze, or quietly stand off to the side. Today, the picture is completely different. They happily pose, wave, laugh, and send hearts to their sponsors, knowing that someone—even from thousands of kilometres away—cares about them, thinks of them, believes in them, and loves them.

Our Sponsorship Project is about much more than supporting a child's education and meeting their basic needs. It is a source of encouragement and hope—a reminder to every child that they are not alone, that someone is following their journey, celebrating their achievements, and giving them the opportunity for a brighter future.

Every six months, our sponsors receive a report that includes these beautiful photographs, the child's school report card, and receipts confirming the payment of school fees and the purchase of school supplies.
