We run a non-institutional volunteer education program designed for children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds, introducing them to the values of solidarity, responsibility, and care for others.

As part of the workshop Let’s Get Volunteering, we visited the residents of the Tuškanac Centre for Education. Through play and role-playing, the children explored what it truly means to be a volunteer: helping a blind person cross the street, supporting a friend with homework, tidying up a shared space, talking about how even small gestures can brighten someone’s day.

The workshop concluded with the creation of a joint poster capturing what we had learned together: that volunteering is not distant or extraordinary, but a daily choice to be more attentive, courageous and open toward others.

This workshop is part of the project Raising Young Volunteers, implemented under the auspices of the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, grounded in the belief that a culture of helping is built from an early age, through small steps, shared experiences and community.
