As part of the preparations for volunteering at our orphanage in Tanzania, our volunteer Petra Josipovic organized a charity pub quiz in late January in Zagreb, held at Mala kavana Franco, which was filled to the last seat that evening.

With a great atmosphere and lots of enthusiasm, teams answered a wide range of questions, from music trivia, such as who sang the first line of the song Moja domovina, to questions inspired by Africa and our work in Tanzania. The quiz was lively, dynamic, and full of laughter.

Most importantly, it had a clear humanitarian goal. The participation fees were donated to support the development of the field in Songea, where we grow food for the children at St. Anthony’s Orphanage. This field makes it possible to provide regular and more nutritious meals for our children, which makes this initiative especially meaningful.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event, as well as to the sponsors, who made sure that not only the best teams, but also the “almost best” ones, were rewarded with great prizes.

Petra’s pub quiz is another great example of the dedication of Kolajna ljubavi’s volunteers, whom we rightly call Kolajna links. Through knowledge, time spent together and goodwill, we are changing the lives of children in Africa.
