Every time we bring our dance quiz “Dance and Relieve Your Back Pain” to a senior home, something truly special happens. And without exaggeration, we always break a new record - sometimes in the amount of laughter, sometimes in the number of dance steps. This November, exactly one year since we started this project, we set a new record for number of participants.

In the amphitheater of Trnje Senior Home, 45 residents gathered, excited to sing, dance, and play along in our cheerful quiz. Even the technology, to our great relief, worked perfectly this time.

The atmosphere was made even more lively thanks to the home’s staff, who cheered, sang, and encouraged the participants, turning the entire quiz into a real show. And when the quiz officially ended, the fun didn’t stop, quite the opposite, a spontaneous party kicked off.

Residents requested their favorite hits, and the hall quickly turned into a dance floor, bringing back memories of “their younger days.” Songs by Ivo Robić, Gabi Novak, Kićo Slabinac and Miroslav Škoro played one after another. Everyone sang along, and those who could, danced.

As always - everyone.

Because when a senior home comes together for a party, when people share laughter and joy, that’s the greatest and most beautiful victory of our project.
