In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, we regularly participate in the implementation of the Voluntary Agreement "Together against Food Waste" in accordance with the Plan for the Prevention and Reduction of Food Waste of the Republic of Croatia for the period from 2023 to 2028. The aforementioned Ministry has concluded voluntary agreements for the prevention and reduction of food waste with various groups of stakeholders, including associations and the non-profit sector. The Kolajna ljubavi association is one of the 39 signatories of the voluntary agreement "Together against Food Waste" because we want to contribute to the reduction of food waste in Croatia by 30% by 2028.

We believe that the above policy is extremely important and have carried out numerous activities so that our association can contribute to this agreement. In addition to cooperating with the local government through the Social Supermarkets Imotski project, where we ensure high-quality and yet rational food consumption for our users, we have contributed to this public policy through numerous workshops and the Responsible for Food forum. With the help of our volunteers, we conducted the workshops in children's homes in Vugrovac and Prekrižje and they had an excellent response. Furthermore, we are working to raise awareness about food waste through educational content.
