Urgent Need: A New Well for Our Orphanage!

We Did It Together – Work on the New Well in Songea Has Begun!

We reached our goal just one week after launching our fundraising campaign on March 28th - thanks to your generosity! All 7000 euros needed to dig and build the new well have been raised, and construction at our orphanage in Songea is already underway.

With the help of local workers, we first located a water-rich underground vein, and that’s where the new well is being built. It will provide a reliable source of clean water for the children in our care and families in the surrounding impoverished neighborhoods.

This new well was urgently needed. The old well, which was the only source of drinking water at our St. Anthony’s Orphanage had started to dry up. Without it, the orphanage and the nearby community would have been left without a basic necessity: clean water.

Your generous support showed what’s possible when we come together for a clear purpose. Every donation was a drop that filled a cup of hope and life.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who contributed. Your help is already changing daily life for the children we care for. Work continues, and we look forward to sharing the moment when the well is complete and fully operational.
